What to Expect

Sunday Worship Service

Sunday services are come as you are and generally casual, as the Bible says, “for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7b)

Worship begins at 10:00 am (AZT). Prayer at 9:00 am.

We are currently studying: Acts. Teachings are in an expository format.

Our style of praise music is probably most similar to Calvary Chapels of the 1970’s and 1980’s, as our worship team happens to know a lot of classic Maranatha! Music. We also do hymns, gospel and select praise tunes.

We aim to select songs which may edify the congregation in sound doctrine while focusing the attention on glorifying God in Jesus Christ.

Prayer Before Service

Prayer is at 9:00 am and all are welcome to come pray with us!

Child Care

Our children’s ministry is growing and your family is invited!

We have a nursery for infants and young mothers, and a children’s classroom for ages up to 5th grade.

As we continue to expand to accommodate more ages, we will update you on this page.

Communion is open to all believers.

We do encourage each other to take time to reflect on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ during Communion.

We observe Communion the first Sunday of every month.

Coffee and Snacks

If we weren’t called Countryside Chapel, maybe we would be called the church of the perpetual potluck? Because snacks and coffee are often prepared before services begin.

Monthly Potlucks

Once a month after church we fellowship around a free potluck. We invite you to sign-up in the sanctuary to bring a dish or just come hungry and leave full!

Friday Bible Study

Worship begins at 6:00 pm (AZT) followed by Bible study.

Our Friday night Bible studies are a little more intensive exposition of the Scripture, kind of like a college course. But don’t let it intimidate you in the least, as we have many new believers attending as well.

We are studying the book of Revelation.

If you’re excited for an in-depth Bible study dealing with Old Testament and New Testament prophecies concerning the End Times, then you will love Friday nights at Countryside Chapel.

Child Care

The nursery is available Friday nights.

All are of course welcome to join us in the sanctuary.
