Expository Teaching on the Book of Hebrews
This Sunday, May 17, 2020, we begin our study of the Book of Hebrews. Whenever I study a Book of the Bible, I start by asking three important questions: 1.) Who is the author? 2.) Who is the audience (to whom was it written)? 3.) What is the author’s intent? (the purpose and meaning of the book?).
When these three questions can be answered honestly and defended by the Word of God, we can all come to a greater understanding of the Book and its application to our lives.
When we start our study on Sunday, I plan on answering all three of the above questions.
The Book of Hebrews is an incredibly rich book. I will be taking our fellowship through an expositional study of the entire book. If your faith is important to you (as it should be), you’ll want to build your faith by studying God’s Word. Paul tells Timothy to, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Tim 2:15 KJV.
I am excited to have you to join with us in prayer, fellowship, teaching and the breaking of bread. Join us every Sunday at 10:00 A.M. as the Word brings us to life. I encourage you to bring your friends and family.
Countryside Chapel is located at 8766 E. Hwy 69, in Prescott Valley.
Don’t miss out on this very exciting happening as we go verse by verse and chapter by chapter through the entire Book of Hebrews. It’s pastor Stewart’s favorite.
